NURSES’ AUXILIARY - The purpose of the Nurse’s Auxiliary is to build a working model for its Auxiliary that is to be used in local churches that will foster a healthy environment for discipleship training and fellowship and one that will serve as a model of excellence to undergird the total Convention work and teach and train Convention delegates according to Ephesians 4:12.

Essential Job Functions

There shall be an Nurse’s Auxiliary that will serve as a model of excellence to undergird the total Convention work and teach and train Convention delegates according to Ephesians 4:12.

The Nurse’s Auxiliary shall submit a detailed written report of Auxiliary work to the Vice President of Auxiliaries to be approved by the Executive Committee.

Shall present an approved detailed report of the Auxiliaries work to the Parent Body of the Convention during the Annual Session.

Shall formulate a strategy for church recruitment.

The Nurse’s Auxiliary is responsible to serve during ALL Parent Body Sessions

The Nurse’s Auxiliary shall be strategically stationed in the Parent Body Session.

The Nurse’s Auxiliary should be knowledgeable of the location of the Nurse’s station and water stations.

In case of emergency, the Nurse’s Auxiliary should devise an action plan in the event that Emergency Medical Teams (EMT) Vehicles are needed in the Parent Body Session.

The National Nurse’s Handbook should be used as a governing tool for the Usher Auxiliary.

Each Auxiliary is subject to the action of the National Missionary Baptist Convention of America.
