
Dr. Christopher Armstrong

On December 28, 1967, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Dr. Christopher C. Armstrong was the fifth of six children born to the Dr. J.N. Armstrong and Mrs. Willie Mae Orey. He has four brothers: Tony, Johnny, Timothy, and Marcus; and one sister, Cynthia.
He is a family man with a wonderful wife, Mrs. Adrienne M Armstrong, five Christ-like children: Tameika, Taurian, Brandon, Ashley, and Christopher; and one beautiful and blessed grand-daughter, Tyuana.
At the age of twenty two, he was called to the gospel ministry. He preached his first sermon and was licensed on February 25, 1990, at the Englewood Baptist Church under the loving leadership of the late Pastor Larry T. Holmes. After growing in ministry, preaching across the country, and performing tasks in the church he was ordained on March 22, 1992.
He has attended the Hattiesburg High School, Alcorn State University, the West Florida Baptist Seminary and the Slidell Baptist Seminary where he’s earned an Associates of Theology Degree, Bachelor of Theology Degree, Master of Theology Degree, and a Doctor of Divinity Degree. He is currently pursuing a Ph. D. in Christian Counseling.
For the past fourteen years, he has served as pastor of the following churches: Rock Star M.B. Church in Brandon, MS; United M.B. Church in Pearl, MS; and currently, he is the humble, helpful, and holy senior pastor of the Greater Antioch M. B. Church of Hattiesburg, MS.
Because the Almighty has anchored, anointed and appointed him to teach, preach, sing, and lecture, Dr. Armstrong is sought after across the length and breadth of this country. He is man of God who loves the Lord and loves God’s people. He stands, scribes, and speaks to saints and sinners for the Saviour.
